So I'm trying to do spot shadows and I realized there's absolutely no method for me to put a bone in Z Space 😮
Obviously this doesn't apply to purely 2D engines, but the biggest benefit of being able to do this is properly maintaining draw order and reducing draw counts for dealing with things like spot shadows or area spells on the ground or what not
My quick thought would be to implement a new property in each region that effectively swapped Y and Z and maybe ignored z-spacing in the process during the LateUpdate of SkeletonRenderer. I dunno what that'd look like inside the Spine editor, but it'd definitely be useful to have in Unity 🙂
