I'm hoping someone will have a solution or some suggestions for an issue I'm having.
Little bit of background-
I have been using a variation of this system to rig the characters I'm working on. Unfortunately, when exported to our game it has become apparent that the paths do not work. Basically the paths seem to directly effect our meshes, despite the fact that they are not directly connected in spine. We are exporting using the .json format, we can't find an answer anywhere in that data either. We are using Haxe. None of that can change. If you DO know what that issue is, I'd be grateful for any help, but I have also contacted the Spine Devs directly about that side of things.
However, where I'm hoping you guys could maybe help is this:
At this point I'm starting looking for a solution where I can have more control over the legs WITHOUT using a path. All I really need is the ability to adjust the knees, which a standard IK setup does not appear to give me. Of course you can drag the bones around to try to get them to look straighter, but it's just a very poppy and unreliable solution. Our characters are forward facing, so having their knees bend at random often leads to them looking super bowlegged or knock-kneed, and I just need to be able to fix that.
Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
