I'm starting to setup my player animations in my network multiplayer project.
I'm working with Unet and a dedicated server (already set up and working) .
Has anyone of you already set up something like this ? :angel:
I was thinking about something like :
- Client sends Command to Server setting up flags (running, shooting etc)
- Server sync those bool on different clients with Rpc
- Client checks for the flags and then trigger the appropriate animations
I also try to aim at mouse with IK setup, but it seems like any function of type void SetArmDirection (ISkeletonAnimation s) can't be called on Server (ISkeletonAnimation) can't be send as parameter...
Any advice about this whole thing ? :tmi:
