Oh nice, that was an easy fix! I had the wrong component in the instantiated spine object, it needs to be the SkeletalAnimation script rather than the animator, it's all working perfectly again now, even flips right.
Just to say, I don't know if I should make a new topic for this question, but I've got a bit more of a complicated problem for you. When my character stops it goes to an 'Idle' animation as you can see, do you know how I can make my player character stay flipped to the direction it's running when playing a new animation?
If that isn't clear, the problem I have is that my player is running right and then when I play the idle animation after he stops running the player immediately flips to the left for the idle animation, I obviously don't want that. I want the idle animation to play in whichever direction the character is facing rather than defaulting left all the time.
