Hey all, new Spine animator here. I've just begun using Spine, and am trying to learn the most efficient way to animated a character in 4 different views (up/down/left/right)
I'd like to know if it is possible to reuse an animation, but with the skeleton flipped around, and attaching different images to it. Specifically, I have completed an animation for a character that is facing down, and would like to know if I can attach the images that I have prepared for the upward facing character. The character silhouette should be pretty close between up and down.
If I have to redo the animation for the opposite direction, that is ok. I just wanted to make certain there wasn't a more efficient way to accomplish that.
Thanks!
So I'm working to solve my problem, by flipping the back images horizontally in photoshop, with the intent to just flip x at runtime. So I now have front view as one skin, with back view as another. Now my problem is that I'm uncertain if I can change the draw order (so that the arms etc are in the correct level relative to the torso from this perspective), and save it within a skin somehow. Or if I should just manually rearrange the draw order of the back view, in a copied version of each animation I wish to reuse.
