Lets say I have a skeleton of a Goblin and have made many animations with it.
The artist then modifies the images, moving pieces around slightly, re-shaping them a bit. Nothing too major, but I can't just update my images (by overwriting them) or the setup pose will not be lined up correctly. There are also a LOT of images, so overwriting them and then manually putting them into place would be very tedious.
What I want to do is:
1) Export the updated Goblin from Photoshop in his Setup Pose
2) Import him into Spine with the images still in the correct Setup Pose from Photoshop
3) Replace the old images with the new ones still maintaining the setup pose from photoshop
4) Finally, adjust the bones to the new updated images of the Goblin.
What I could use advice with is step #3. Is the best way to do it to delete all of the Slots on the OLD version, and then import the updated version as a new skeleton and drag the slots onto the correct bones? That seems to maintain the position of the slot/attachment, which is what I want. I'd have to re-create any meshes though.
What I'm looking for is an easy way to copy the transform of a slot/attachment (NOT the bone) from one slot/attachment to another. If I could do that I could just overwrite the images with the new version (causing them to be slightly out of place), then import the updated setup pose as a new skeleton, and simply copy/paste the slot/attachment transforms to the original skeleton.
Sorry if this was confusing. Thanks for any help!
