Hi everyone I have this situation with the clipping mask functionality.

I have this animation which works properly on the Spine editor

But in Unity works like this.

I updated the Unity-Spine library but still it doesn't work.

Any solution? Thanks in advance.

Can you share with us the exported files so we can debug? unity@esotericsoftware.com

I was able to fix it but this seems to be an ambiguous case you seem to have caught. We'll be deliberating on how to best handle it.

But for now, you can set the "end slot" of your Clipping attachment to be the very last slot. (I think in your case, it's called "deadEffect")

That should make it unambiguous and be able to fix the animation.
If it doesn't, let us know.

You may need to choose a different slot depending on what effects you add, actually. Just check it appropriately.

If you set the end slot to the clipping attachment slot or any of the slots before the clipping attachment in the draw order, then the clipping will clip from the clipping attachment slot to the end of the draw order. The draw order indicates which slots are clipped.

Thank you so much for your support. The problem is solved.

I really did not understand completely how clipped mask worked but now I do. Thanks.
