# Spine Reinstallation

Occasionally Spine must be reinstalled to use the latest version. When this is required, Spine will display a dialog at startup to let you know:

## Reinstalling Spine

To reinstall Spine, visit your Spine license page, which was emailed to you when Spine was purchased. There you will find links to download the Spine installer.

If you are unable to find the link to your Spine license page, please use the [Spine license recovery](/spine-license-recovery) page to have it sent to you.
