Spine2D Freelancer No License
Hey guys my partner and I are finding ourselves in the position where a freelancer that we like doesn't currently have a Spine license. We're currently just a 2 person studio outsourcing art / animation work.
We were thinking of hiring him to do a couple hours of Spine animation work in order to evaluate him. After reading the license agreement it looks like we can't send one of our licenses to allow him to do some saved sample work though for evaluation.
When it comes to situations like these, what are your suggestions?
Currently it looks like we have the following options
- Have him screen record new animation from free trial (allows us to evaluate skills but all sample work would be gone upon close).
- Buy him essential license as payment in order to do some saved sample work ( wouldn't allow use of all features ) .
- Request that he purchase the license.
I understand that this can be a difficult realm to navigate when it comes to software. Were just looking to see what might be the best solution or if we might be missing something.
Thanks so much in advance!
In my opinion, the most important thing is to be able to create good animation in any software, if the person has a good understanding of rigging and animating in any software (specially 3D), learning Spine comes very easy.
