2019.3 spine testing
Hey guys,
First of all thanks for the great Spine support, every issue i've had before has been fixed quickly, or i've found the solution in these forums.
I'm in a bit of a sticky and unenviable situation - in that our company has updated to Unity 2019.3 (0a2) to make use of some essential new unity features, however this has our broken Spine integration with timeline, which we use extensively.
I completely understand that esoteric can't be rolling out support (or even much customer support!) for unity alpha builds, but I was wondering if there was any way I could gain access to some kind of 2019.3 compatible beta build or something? I see that there are a few mentions of 2019.3 in the roadmap (Spine Roadmap), so thought it was worth a message in case.
In turn of course I would be very communicative with bug reports etc. ! :nerd:
Since 2019.3 became beta it has been scheduled as one of the next issues to tackle.
We would be happy to hear your reports after we published the first version of spine-unity for 2019.3 of course, always appreciated!
Hi Harald, thanks for your reply.
Glad to hear you've got that scoped in soon, I was wondering if you had any sort of idea on when a beta might be available?
Or even if you had an alpha in the pipeline that I could mess around with as currently I have a lot of broken animations and i'm keen to get them back!
Thanks again.
Thanks for the amazing work! We also starting with 2019.3 to get all new 2D yummies, but waiting for the shader update from Spine. Hopefully we get it soon
We're waiting on 2019.3 support as well. We're also wanting to use some of the new 2D toys like 2D lighting. I'm happy to assist in any testing and feedback if you need it.
+1 to this.
Really excited for 2019.3 compatibility.
We are using Spine a lot, but also relying on some new 2019.3 functionality so i've had to make so many concessions and workarounds  .
If you need any beta testers please reach out and I can help out. Especially for the timeline extension!
