squirell Hey guys, I need to figure out if there is an easy way to add just a bit of z axis depth to each of my sprites on a character. I am using realtime shadows on a unity project and because the spine data comes in stack on itself, I am getting some pretty nasty shadow bugs. If I could spread out the sprites on a character that would fix this. Thanks!
Pharan Yeah. SkeletonComponent handles building the mesh. It makes one quad per image. You could make it so each quad has a different z.
squirell So if I am using Spine in Unity, where exactly would I edit the SkeletonComponent? Sorry for my ignorance, I am a noob 😃
Pharan Nate means the SkeletonComponent class. It's in the file named SkeletonComponent.cs and it comes with the Spine runtime you downloaded. Spine runtimes are open-source so you can edit its code if you need something specific like this.
