I am working closely with a gaming start-up company, the game is interactive targeted to young adult (romance) in San Francisco Bay Area.
I am seeking an a experienced Spine Animator to join the growing team. A strong candidate would be someone who has experience in the gaming industry, communication in Mandarin Chinese is required. This is a full-time position.
You have the ability to rig and animate 2D Characters, and you will be provided with the color final characters and backgrounds. The animator will cut apart the characters, rig them and use the Spine Mesh tool to simulate 3-Dimensional turns and movements

You will be provided with the color final characters and backgrounds
The animator will cut apart the characters, rig them and use the Spine Mesh tool to simulate 3-Dimensional turns and movements
Tasks and Responsibilities Include:
Animating the characters (glows, blinking lights, side character's idle), and background, with the given storyboard
Primary use of the mesh tool to rig and animate Spine for 3D Stimulation
Creating a short animation less than a minute to allow running two storyboards' animated sequences
Responsible for timing the animation to create various mouth movements and shapes which can be assembled to match the audio during post-production (No lip-sync required)
Create an animatic approval for timing
Provide the Spine files to make necessary adjustments during post-production
Basic Requirements:
Ability to have strong communication skills in English and Mandarin (required)
Ability to follow instructions and implement feedback
Bachelors or MFA in Animation or equivalent
Expertise in spine animation
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in gaming industry
