  • Bones are ignoring the ik constraint

Hi,

I'm encountering an issue that I can't quite comprehend. I have set-up some IK for the legs and foot bones of a character. It works properly everywhere, exept for one foot.

When I apply the IK constraint to two specifics bones, the Ik constraint does not influence them at all. x

Here is the original setup after creating the IK constraint.

Here is what happens when I move the ik constraint: nothing.

I'm confused, it feels like I am missing something that could cause this behavior. Any idea?

Perhaps a constraint applied after them is overriding the result.
Try resetting the constraints order:
Constraints: Order

Ohh yes indeed, the leg bones above had an ik constraint around the ankle ("b_ankle_ik"). I just had to switch the order between the two constraints.
