I'm looking at the possibility of using Spine for a UE5 project that is in the early stages. I've compiled the runtime from Github and have it working with UE5. I've been looking over the Spine software and the sample projects included with the runtime in order to determine if this is a viable solution.
The project will require the use of normal maps and possibly Roughness, Specular, Metallic, and Emissive textures. I'm wondering how easily this can be done working with the runtime and what would be involved in getting it working with the additional textures.
I think I have it figured out. Looks like it will not be too difficult. I should have assets from the artist to test it out soon.
The normal map isn't perfect but looks like it's all doable. I don't suppose there's any kind of discount out there for the Pro license?
