  • [Feature Request] Iso background grid in editor

This falls under the category of "nice to have," but I'm working on animations in an isometric perspective, and I get the impression from this forum that there are quite a few people doing the same. Currently I'm just importing an iso grid and setting it to the back layer, but I have to make sure to delete it every time I export, which is a bit of a pain.

I found myself thinking it would be nice if there was an option under settings which would let you change the background grid's appearance (e.g. "squares", "isometric", "off").

I'm not sure how big a feature this would be, but I thought I'd throw this request out there, since it would make this project a bit easier.

Thanks for making such a great tool! So excited to get meshes going in our project. 🙂

If you mark image attachment as background, it won't be exported (and it won't be also selectable).

See the checked option on following screen shot:

Image removed due to the lack of support for HTTPS. | Show Anyway

Export will omit attachments with checked background option. However the slot will appear in resulting JSON:
