downloaded from the Kickstarter unique link but got 1.0.18 again, unless I screwed up (highly likely)

Is there a way to add an update feature in Spine itself ?

1.1.x does have auto update. 1.0.18 isn't available for download anymore, you should get the latest using your link. Maybe your browser cached something?
