Rise & Shine.

Hi there!
Just the new project we have started here at Super Awesome Hyper Dimensional Mega Team a couple of months ago for PC/consoles, called Rise and Shine.
First time for me animating with skeletons...Still taking a while to get used to it (traditional animator here with not a whole lot of experience anyways).
TRAILER HERE! http://youtu.be/KXBUQfMYFuQ
Looks really cool! I like how it moves left/right, doesn't feel flat at all.
Haha...thanks! That requires the use of a lot of traditional animation for him turning his head (and body too!), but the result gives him that "less flat" look...
Great tool you have created! Looking forward to those animated meshes
With meshes I think you could do most or all of it without needing separate images. Soon!
Great animation and Art! It is bright and positive, wanna see gameplay or more conceptArt!
Yeah, it looks very nice, I like the style and the movement! I would like to see more
Thanks, guys!
Here's the walking animation, trying the newly released animated meshes feature in Spine. As you can see, I'm using meshes animation just on a few places (face, body and hood) but they're a nice touch that add a lot of life to the character.
I have to say guys, you did an awesome job with this tool!
Looks great!! I like the character design and animation!
Very fluid, I'm inspired
Its great man, did you also used FFD in the first running animation? It looks pretty good.
On a side note, I would try making the bag strap a mesh too, so that you can adjust it as it falls down and it doesn't go into the arm.
Great job man, looking forward to see more.
@StringKiller: Thanks for the tip! Great idea about the strap.
Actually, the first running animation was traditional animation without the meshes...They were still not available! haha.
And here's our Sentry Turret! Nothing too fancy animation-wise...
This is how our game looks on a super-early version. Still lots of work to do!
Retouching the running animation using a bit of squashing to make the character far more bouncy. Much better now!
That looks so awesome !! Nice work

Reminds me of Machinarium.
Keep up the good work, it looks great!
Really nice animations.
I like the slight perspective change on the face of your hero.
Starting to get some mesh animation into our characters, now that the feature is ready for Unity
I'm quite surprised of what you can get with simple image deformation...It gives the characters kind of a 3D feeling.
Love it! I expect some real crazy stuff with FFD and skinning.
