I'm currently working on a 2D networked/competitive game but nobody in the team has already dealt with crowdfunding, so if you guys have any tips or advice for a young french team, it would extra-super-over- cool from you :love:

Anyway, congrats again, I can't wait to play Caveman Warriors with my buddies ! :party:

My first recomendation is the following.

MAKE A COMMUNITY BEFORE LAUNCH YOR KICKSTARTER. You must have at least 50-60% of the funding goald made by your community on the first 2-3 days or you will fail on your kickstarter.

And be prepared to work, our kickstarter was over 2 months of preparation and launch, very difficult.

When you talk about creating a community, what was the top one marketing vector for you guys ? Steam Greenlight ? Twitter ? Games forums ?

And you're talking about 2 months of preparation and launch ? I guess you're talking about actually creating the content and assets for the kickstarter ?
