ridiculous Steam-sales i assume - other than that, probably only the big audience it offers.
Than again, I kinda doubt that you need Steam as a promotion platform to reach indi-devs.
I sure found Spine without it, after I knew what I was looking for ;D

When I took college classes and used it no one knew what it was including teachers there than been in the industry for years.. I found it by accident suffering the net.. Also people I work with it never heard of it either..

No, i own the software, its not about sales. not only is the online steam forums active, it would increase the user base I can trade info with as well as increase sales for a product I love. Just a few of the many reasons.
