How to rig in a skateboard?

Hello,

I'm rigging a character with two human style legs. They are set up with IK, so they bend nicely when the torso is moved down.

I would like to attach a skateboard to the feet, so the board follows the feet when the character jumps. But it also has to stay firmly on the ground when the character kneels and bends their legs.

I've tried a lot of different parenting options, but I can't seem to get it right.

Anyone have any ideas? For some reason, I think I saw Spine boy with a hover-board once, but I can't seem to find it. I don't think they went over how to rig it though. It's pretty much exactly what I need to do.

I believe Spineboy with the hoverboard was added to examples a while back. The project is called spineboy-mesh.spine and has a spineboy-hoverboard skeleton.

Skeleton looks like this in case you can't find it.
