Hello people.
I've been researching some games and 2D animations that use different effects to be able to make some body parts seem to have actual volume. While most of them use free-form deformations or even 3D deformations over the flat poligons, I found a very interesting way of making 2D image seem to have volume. The trick is to add additive blending to a source of light over the image of the body part and move and squash around that actual lightsource. If you want some examples on these techniques check out most of the "Dragon's Crown" animations:

You can see really clearly how the armor of the warrior glows and you can also see on the boobs of the sorceress how there's a spot of light that moves around making it look like it has volume, even though it only change images twice and have some tiny deformations and movement.
So my suggestion is... Could it be possible to add to spine the options to have multiple blending types in certain slots? such as additive blending, or multiplicative blending? Is there any actual workaround on this to make it possible?
Thanks a lot!
Juan.
