Good question. But this sort of thing is engine-specific and requires extra shader and rendering code that Spine can't easily handle for everything. So, currently, no.
And this is unfortunately the realm of graphics programmers and isn't something you can do by just going to some menus and linking layers and whatever like in Photoshop/After Effects/Illustrator. Code needs to be written. And you wouldn't be able to preview it in Spine while animating.
This is pretty much true in any other skeletal/realtime 2D animation, unless it was specific to one engine or graphics API and the developers really made it happen.
