Hello!

Spine looks like a very amazing and surprisingly inexpensive tool for game developers to make games much richer, more easily. I was wondering if you would be able to post an example of an exported Spine file to give an idea of what developers have to work with to develop unofficial support for frameworks you may not support on your own.

If you can't post an example file, would you be able to describe it a bit, such as if it is XML/JSON, etc?

Thanks!

I already asked they said its not their focus to support 3rd party devs at the moment. The format is JSON btw.

We've added links to example JSON data on the download page:

We do want to help the gaming community develop runtimes on their own, it's just first we want to make sure the official runtimes meet all the needs.

Thank you so much for posting this example! I look very forward to seeing this project succeed!

So, will the Unity exported files work with an API of sorts, built by you? Or will it be using FBX animations and just work using Unity's standard animation classes?

Nevermind...just realized you mention 2D Toolkit, so I assume it won't be using FBX.And I think the video on the Kickstarter page mentions creating libraries for using it, so that answers my question.

2D Toolkit is what I've already been using for projects, so I am happy.

Get well soon!
