Hi everyone!

We here at http://on-5.com have just cooked up a gameplay video of one of our new games that we are developing, codenamed Legendary Fighter! It's a 2D fighting game featuring world's most famous people, beating the crap out of each other using ridiculously awesome moves.

All of the fighters and some particles are animated in Spine!

It'd be fun if you did a bit of extra research into who these people were.

Like, Einstein loved fishing, was highly adept at theorizing by empathizing with physical phenomena (eg, imagining what it's like to be a particle under certain conditions) and had very strong practical opinions on pedagogy in schools.

Darwin had a long-time fascination with earthworms; his last published book was on earthworms. He was also frustrated by how his ideas were misused and misunderstood to justify ruthless social and economic policies (eugenics, imperialism, etc), whereas he was acutely aware of harmonious ecological interdependence.

Point is: there's probably some dialog or special move in there somewhere. 😃

I agree with the Einstein's shirt, it needs to go on Tesla 🙂
Other notes on the characters are fair, but I don't really see a distinct move out of the points you made. Darwin does use Harriet on one of his moves, which I think is more known than his fascination about earthworms. We might still use them as part of some particles for his abilities 😉

I'd wanted to do a street fighter game for awhile(really surprised at the lack of them), but I really like the science spin 😃

Great job on it, can't wait to try it!

I have wanted to experient on turning the body though- like when a punch is made with the forearm, having it switch parts so his back is shown instead of his chest... but it looks great and smooth enough as it is.

When are you planning on releasing it, and what other scientists are you planning on adding
(if you could have Edison vs. Tesla, I'm sure "The Oatmeal" might even promote it, since that is may be meme quality)

It also reminds me a little of "jib jab's" (art) style.
