Spine Workshops

Book an on-site or web-based workshop lead by Esoteric Software's top animators to get your team up and running, learn advanced Spine techniques, or get assistance with requirements specific to your company and products.

Spine workshops combine theoretical knowledge transfer with hands-on practice. Participants are taught how to use the many tools Spine provides, techniques to efficiently create high quality animations, and are challenged with exercises to solidify their knowledge.

Pricing

The cost of a workshops is $75USD per webinar unit and $120USD per on-site unit. For on-site workshops, flight and hotel expenses are billed in addition to the workshop cost. Flight and hotel expenses depend heavily on your location and the number of days the instructor needs to stay. Upon receiving your workshop request, we will send you a quote with the total cost of the workshop.

Modules

Each module is composed of one or more units which are 45 minutes each, with a 10 minute break between units. Click the plus below for modules you would like in your workshop, then use the form at the bottom to send us a workshop request.

Requirements

  • Laptop or computer capable of running Spine for each participant (Spine licenses can be provided for the duration of the workshop)
  • Broadband internet connectivity for each participant
  • On-site:
    • Room for the duration of the workshop capable of comfortably hosting all the participants
    • Projector, minimum resolution 1920x1080, HDMI input
  • Maximum of 20 participants per workshop is recommended

BEGINNER BASIC COURSE

Beginner Level

This two day workshop introduces 2D skeletal animation and teaches the basics of using Spine. While any experience with animating is helpful, attendees do not require previous experience with skeletal animation.

SPINE FOR ANIMATORS

Intermediate Level

This one day workshop teaches advanced Spine usage. Attendees must have prior experience with skeletal animation. To extend the workshop to a second day, advanced modules may be added below.
