Spine 3.0.08 locks up after launch on Mac OS X

steps:

install Spine
launch Spine
watch Spine 3.0.08 download and load
splash screen disappears

result:
spine stops responding, pointer turns into beachball, requires force quit

expected result:
spine finishing launch

not sure how to troubleshoot. thanks!

Maybe you are running Rescue Time?

d'oh! that was it! sorry, missed that in the faq! thanks 🙂

No worries. I wish we knew the reason why it happens. Rescue Time does some system level hooks and for some reason this causes problems when Spine tries to create its window. We worked with the Rescue Time guys a bit, but unfortunately were unable to track it down.
