Asunto: PAID looking for Animator for Halloween related Game

    Nic Chapuis wrote

    Hello,
we are looking for an experienced Spine animator for a Halloween related game project.
You can see the main character below.

We are looking for a couple of simple animations like.

    Run
    Glide
    Dash
    Jump
    etc.

The character is already separated into body parts and all layers are named.
So he is ready to be animated.

After this character is animated there will be other characters that need animations.

Please reply here or send me a PM
I think I am not able to post my email address here!?!?

Include a link to your animation reel and your hourly rate.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Best,
    Nic

    Hi,

My name is Alex, from Brazil, and I'm heading a 2D mobile game project. It is our first one.
I'm having difficulties searching for animators available both in my country and overseas. Thus, this topic rises.

I'm willing to discuss volume and pricing with anyone. I will give more details as our talk progressess.

Our game will have it's art (animation style included) heavily influenced by those on Rayman Legends/Adventure.
But being able to mimick a particular style will NOT be a requirement.

Thank you so far for the attention. :grinteeth:

    Hi Alex

I would be interested to know more about the project (I like the idea of having a reference rayman, I like the style of animation it uses) I leave you my portfolio online at the following link.

    Cheers!

    Hi,

I look for animator who would like to join our team (longterm) working on legendaryones.com, which is under development. We need someone communicative with at least some experience.

We need to create few stance skeletons (idle, attack, defend etc.) and add on them around 30 armors, weapons and head assets. Characters will be built dynamically from equiped items before battle, so all each item must be in separate file in JSON.

I think that solution is to make all armors the same so we can always use the same skeleton (torso, legs, shoulder, arms). Artist draw the armors almost the same so they can be put on the same skeleton to speed it up. I don't want to create original skeleton for each armor and each stance.

Our inspiration for battles is Darkest Dungeon, so you can check to have an idea.

Anyone who has experience with something similar is a huge plus.

I am interested in working with the project you mention in the publication. I have experience with creating complex rigging for characters that estimate more than one Skin. I can also provide an optine setting in the riggin as per what you describe as requirement. I leave you my instagram where you can see some works, if you are interested in knowing more about my work, let me know and I can show you more.

    Hi,

We’re looking for someone proficient in Spine to create some animations for our 2D fighting game. The game is in a medieval style and the majority of animations required will be sword attacks, shield blocks etc so someone with experience in this style is essential.

We prefer working with people who can offer us a flat fee for each job/animation (depending on complexity obviously).

All the graphics and slicing are done and we have a (dubiously) rigged Spine file, just need the animations.

If interested, please get in touch with your rates and examples of your work.

Fluent English required to discuss the finer details of the job.

    Thanks,

    Joe

Hi, we had someone reply very quickly and we have decided to go with them, we may need some further work done in the future so will keep your applications on file. Thankyou very much for the interest shown 🙂

  • Asunto: [PAID] 2D Animator Needed

    Hello!

We are a micro-indie game duo working on our 2D mystery-meets-farming game (PC/tablet) prototype for an upcoming industry showcase.

We are looking to contract a Spine animator to rig and animate one human character and one dinosaur character. (After which there may be further work, but initially it is just these two characters we are looking to rig and animate.)

    The animations we need...

    For the human character:

(to include: front facing, back facing, left facing, right facing)

    • Idle
    • Walking
    • Digging
    • Reaching for satchel
    • Throwing seeds
    • Planting (crouching and patting the ground)
    • Using watering can
    • Axing
    • Inspecting - low (crouching down and looking at an object)
    • Inspecting - mid (looking at object mid-height)
    • Inspecting - high (looking at object higher up)
    • Falling asleep

    For the dinosaur character:

(to include: front facing, back facing, left facing, right facing)

    • Idle (tail movement, breathing, chewing, blinking)
    • Walking (lumbering movements)
    • Biting (at vegetation, like a cow or horse might chomp at something)

This is our first time using Spine, so we may need you to help us figure out the best way to shape the art in order for it to look good in Spine.

    Deadline: ASAP

The budget we have available for this is £450.

We are looking for someone with portfolio examples of their work with Spine.

Send your portfolio and estimate timescale to gwen[at]foxtorgames.com

I look forward to hearing from you!

    Hello R millaguin,

Namastey ! I just saw your portfolio. Really impressive art work.

But I am not employer. Actually, I just want to use your spine characters to do animation for my portfolio. I will give your name for the art work creation in my portfolio. I will also send my animation works to you.

I like the magician girl, woman holding spray to clean the room, man behind the bricks wall etc. Kindly provide rig files if you wish.

    Warm regards,

Sorry, but the art in my entire portfolio is not my own. I just do animation. regards

    Hi,

do you have anatomy scenes in your portfolio? Are you okay doing sex scenes? Do you have experience with complex scenes?

This work includes creating complex scenes of 2-3 characters, usually total can be 100+ bones, meshes & etc. Very important is nice / realistic motion animation

I have no problem doing work with sex scenes. In my portfolio I have some work done with more than one character on stage, if you can share any email I can send you something.

I have no experience animating sexual scenes, but I could do some testing if you share a singular character to test movement and fluidity.

  • Hi Chris,

I have experience in creating character structure in different skins. I leave you my portfolio with some general problems, if you are interested in seeing something more detailed, you can share an email to send you more.

  • Hello guys ,

I tried all the options they give me but they didn't work out. What I did was make a new animation and bring the keyfram there, after that everything worked normal.

    Thanks anyway

  • I need help with the loop. I don't have any keyframe that reaches frame 40, but still stretches the loop to that frame. What parameter should I move to correct the reproduction?

I have 2 Skeletons in the same project, but both animations that are running reach frame 30,

  • I found a bug with the new update to 3.8 runtime in Unity, when playing any spine animation, the first frame is the Setup Pose. If the spine is freezed, the setup pose stay until the freeze is disabled.
A way to solve this temporary is forcing the skeleton update in the Start() method, with this line:

    _skeletonGraphic.Update();

current first frame: (Same like "setup mode" in spine)

    expected first frame:

  • As you can see in the image I shared, the second vignette has the head of the character shown and is on the first vignette (which is in motion), so I am interested in using several masks at once.

It is possible to use more than one activated mask that affects only the images that I want ? (not all)

  • Hello community, I would like to solve the following:

I have a project with 3 vignettes and I want to apply "masks"( clipping) in all of them (3 in total), my problem is that by ordering the images and clipping, I only manage to make one of the masks affect all the other images.

How can I apply more than one mask and affect only the image layer that I destined? 🙁
