  • Can't launch Spine after update

So I was in the process of updating to 4.0 when this happened. I haven't been able to figure anything out... any ideas what might be happening?

So obligatory using windows 10 x64
I've tried launching from uninstalling, reinstalling, and launching from commandline.

The weird thing is that my logs are empty, and when I launched from commandline I got this:


YoursTruly@WS2019-04 MINGW64 /c/Program Files/Spine
$ ./Spine.com

YoursTruly@WS2019-04 MINGW64 /c/Program Files/Spine
$ ./Spine.exe

so Yeah, not very helpful. :grinfake

Sorry you are having trouble! Spine should print something for almost any error that occurs. Since you don't see anything at all, I would guess that something is terminating the Spine process. Are you running antivirus or anti-malware that could be interfering with Spine? Please note some such software continues its interference, even when supposedly disabled. For example, Comodo Firewall does this and needs to be complete uninstalled to actually disable it.
