The application crashes constantly, saving a project, opening a project, moving an image, expanding a menu etc etc you never know what will cause it. The trial had no problems. I bought the pro to try and develop a small test application to see if Spine was a viable option for our company. We are going to have multiple artists working many hours in the application, there's no way I can reccomend using Spine at this point. I can't even stay in the application long enough to create anything. Ugh sorry this is really frustrating.

Here's a crash log from the last time it crashed.

I don't know what's happened but after it crashing 20 times or so and me just constantly re-opening it, now it hasn't crashed. I'm scared to let my computer fall asleep or close the app though lol. I'm guessing it's a Java thing? I don't know, it's a headache though :-/

And I spoke too soon. As soon as I switched to Animate... crash. 4 times in a row now.

Okay new theory! It only happens when fullscreened?

I also might be becoming superstitious. I clap three times and spin before opening the app, that may also be doing it 🙂

Sorry you are having trouble. If you can get it to crash consistently, that would be very helpful. The crash isn't shown in the log, so it must be a hard crash in native code.

Hi,

U'm having the same problem since I updated to El Capitan.
To me, the way to reproduce the error is always the same: Open Spine, Load a project, go to fullscreen, do anything (for exemple, try to Translate a node) = Crash, close.

ps.: Sometime it will crash even when not in fullscreen, but I still have to find the way to reproduce this.

The log is attached. Let me know if there's anything else you need.
