Spine's Video Encoding producing High Contrast Color
I am experiencing various problems when I export my animations into a JPEG AVI file. First, the videos seem to show the right colors when I play them on GOMPlayer, upload to GFYCat, or transfer to Photoshop CS6 for editing. However, when I play on VLC or import to a video editting program like Avidemux, they show the colors in higher contrast. This is a problem, because I want to use Avidemux to convert it to .mp4, but the biggest issue is that there are several mediums that will show the animations at this high contrast color.
*For a specific reason, I can't show examples of my exports.
I would also hope .mp4 option is included in Video Export, since Twitter doesn't accept .avi.
I've seen different behavior across video players with all kinds of videos, not just from Spine. I guess video playback is a complex thing and the players must be doing something different. I'm not even able to say which one is doing it right!
One option is to export frame images, then create a video file from those with other software.
An update to this situation. I tried many video player softwares and found varying results.
GOMPlayer, Windows Media Player, Photoshop CS6, and GFYCat upload shows the colors in the right form.
Windows 10 Movies & TVs, VLC, PotPlayer, and Avidemux show the incorrect (high saturation, yellow-ish) colors. However, there has been some weird results when attempting to figure this out.
In VLC, changing Video Output to "Windows GDI video output" displays the right colors but produces hard edges around the moving colors. In PotPlayer, when I changed the Video Rendering to OpenGL, it was apparently the only Rendering option that shows the colors correctly. However, the player had poor performance when playing and looping the video.
