Hey everybody, I thought I'd share this with the community here. I've been playing around making some splatoon fan art in my spare time. I really love the character designs and the concept art really inspired me. I've attached a link to the spine file and included the assets I made for it. Might be useful for somebody to play around with and prototype some stuff.

Link to zipped assets and animations:

Animations included:

Idle, run, jump, fall, 5-way shooting

Feel free to use the animations however you want but don’t use my art. You can repackage the skeleton or break it apart or do whatever you please. It’s an inconsistent mess though so be warned! You might have to rename everything to suit your own naming conventions (and fix my mistakes!)

ENJOY!

Great and inspiring work! Thanks for attachements - nice way to learn more stuff!

No problem! I'm always curious to see how others work and do things so I thought it might be useful for others. I played around with meshes and weighting a bit while making this to see if I could figure out what works best for future characters. I think her legs deform pretty well but I messed up the feet and squid hair a little. They're usable but not great. At least I learned some stuff though.

You're the one who animated stuff for OniKira, right?
Looks like you're really getting used to using Spine. Great techniques.

Nate needs to kiss you now. I have declared it.

This is something i was in need for! A fan-made project to learn new things!
Thanks!

this will only work for pro, i mean showing all the images cause i have the essential version and i opened it and only some parts of her body i can see and the rest are bones lol
