I've been using Spine for some months now, but as great as it is, there is a troublesome issue I have to solve.
In my project, Spine objects sometime have to be embedded in the (2D) user interface, in box shaped slots (it may not stay box shaped).
Having animated characters in the interface is really interesting in term of overall dynamism, so I wish I could keep it !
The problem is that the characters mostly will overhang on neighbour slots :/ So I'm trying to completly clip the spine object in his slot. I found a way but it's not clean nor reliable by making a plane in 3dsMax with the "invert shape" of my slot, and render it with a transparent shader on top of it, with ZWrite On. On top of being unreliable, it would clip every spine objects behind my shape, making it unusable for overhanging character.
If someone have knowledge on this subject I'll be glad to learn more on this !
