i want to apply the root Motion of my walk animations inside Unity.

but if i add the SpineRootMotion.cs script and add it to my GameObject, i get an error
NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
Spine.Unity.Modules.SpineRootMotion.HandleUpdateLocal (ISkeletonAnimation animatedSkeletonComponent) (at Assets/spine-unity/SpineRootMotion.cs:261)
Spine.Unity.SkeletonAnimator.Update () (at Assets/spine-unity/Components/SkeletonAnimator.cs:91)
and no Animation playing at all
using spine 3.6.53 and spine-runtimes 3.6 (10/08/18)
is there a newer / working solution / am i doing it wrong?
