Issue with hotkeys and keyboard layout.
Hello,
While i tried to downgrade to different version to understand another problem i have with json files, i had to reinstall spine completely, and now the hotkeys don't work anymore. I can't find a hotkeys.txt file to change them, and changing the keyboard layout (i use an qwertz keyboard) doesn't change anything, and i still need to use cmd+y to undo an action, which is a bit unnatural to me (I'm used to cmd +z). Could you please help me?
Nicky - sorry for the many questions these days, i'm a bit overwhemled by all the things i need to understand before even being able to learn how to use the software.
Sorry we didn't get to your post sooner!
From the settings dialog you can open the hotkeys file. You can delete that file, or delete the contents so it's empty. Restart Spine and the hotkeys will be back to defaults. You'll find it under Image removed due to the lack of support for HTTPS. | Show AnywayFiles
:
As you can see, in 4.0 there's a Defaults
button which resets the hotkeys file, same as deleting the file. You'll still need to restart Spine if you click that though (we'll make that more obvious).
Before or after doing the above, if you are on macOS choosing QWERTZ for the keyboard type will change the hotkeys so you can use cmd+Z
and not cmd+Y
for undo.
Oh that's great thank you so much!
I think i missed the part of simply restarting Spine. I still had to change the hotkeys on top of changing the keyboard layout, but now it's working nice! Thanks a lot!
Great to hear!
